No Evidence against Paras: Report

The probe panel led by Deputy Inspector General of Police (DIG) Ganga Prasad Pande formed to investigate the alleged firing by former Crown Prince Paras Shah in Chitwan has said no evidence was found to prove Shah had opened the fire.
In its report submitted to Home Minister Bhim Rawal, the panel has said, neither the used bullets nor any other evidence to prove Shah had opened fire was found.
The panel has said, a case on arms and ammunitions cannot be filed based on the available evidence.
Shah was arrested and detained for two days on charge of opening fire at Sujata Koirala’s son-in-law Rubel Chaudhary. He was later released on a bail of Rs 10,000
